Causality is a complex concept, which roots its developments across several fields, such as statistics, economics, epidemiology, computer science, and philosophy. In recent years, the study of causal relationships has become crucial part Artificial Intelligence community, causality can be key tool for overcoming some limitations correlation-based Machine Learning systems. research generally divided into two main branches, that is, discovery inference. The former focuses on obtaining knowledge directly from observational data. latter aims to estimate impact deriving change certain variable over an outcome interest. This article at covering methodologies have been developed both tasks. survey does not only focus theoretical aspects.
